I just bought a G1 Eclipse and have plenty of plans for it. I just got it to run and see that the tranny is fried. I decided that I love to fabricate and custom so much why not swap the tranny out to a 5 speed or even an AWD system. Any one of y'all done either one. Let the Lady know something. And if ya got time let me know what ya got.

 

honestly, for the cost of 1g's i really believe it would be more cost effective to just buy a gsx. because basically to do all of this you are gonna need a complete donor car to take all the stuff from. So unless your just in love with the condition the body of the car you have now is in, its probably gonna be cheaper to just buy a gsx. Unless you find a really good deal on one that has a blown motor as a donor.Also what model are we talking here (1.8 NT, 2.0 NT, 2.0 turbo)
