Default nasty leak in 93 Eclipse

I have a real nasty oil leak in a 93 eclipse, looking for some advice on how to find and fix the leak. Started after I put in alternator.

alternators dont cause oil leaks and more info would be good. is the oil level getting lower every day? how bad? look under your hood for wet oil shouldnt be too difficult...

The jack slipped while I was inserting the alternator and I think I may have cracked the oil pan. The oil leak is on the passenger side of the engine. It leaks constantly when driven but then stops when parked. Also after driving for a while white smoke is comming out from under the hood. Starts and runs fine. Haven't yet found exact spot where oil is comming from. any suggestions.

ouch, well if you dented the oil pan you're going to need to get a new one. Hopefully you didnt damage the block above it. If you get under the car though you should be able to see where its wet from oil leaking. if you cant tell then wipe it dry, then go drive it around the block and look under it again to see where it was coming from.
