no, because the hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake is like a breather, so you can use a catch can or just put a breather filter on it. i have a stock head that was on my turbo car, but you can always swap the cams. but it needs a rebuild.
16 new valve
16 new guides
probably new seats
1 rocker

Thanks Bro but I am looking for one to replace mine cause mine is burning oil and I dont know how to rebuild one....not yet at least once I get a good one I will take apart my old one and figure it out then I want to do some mods anyway I can rebuild it then, with some upgrades any tips?? Its not rocket science and I did go to trade school for two courses with the manuals I will figure it out in no time. Im sure you will see alot of questions from me once I start...LoL So anybody who knows where I can get a used head with good valve guides and seats let me know my e-mail address is WhiteTrash6100@aol.com

If you are burning oil then it should be blue smoke coming out of the exhaust. If that is whats hapening then you need to do a compression test to check the piston rings

Yea I think I am gonna do that tonight. Could oil be getting past my plugs because I do have oil pooled in the plug holes from the cracked valve cover?

no that wouldnt happen. Its either because the seal is bad or your rings are messed up.
