Default turbo or not turbo?

Want to drop a 91 - 2.0L turbo engine in my 93- 2.0L non turbo engine hole. No everything should fit but do I need a new ECU and obviously I need new intake pipe. Will the 2.0 non exhaust bolt up to the turbo exahuast manifold? Has anyone done this. thanks!

youll need to do some exhaust work up front for sure,
it makes it 10x easier i you get the wires harness, resistor box for the injectors, and ECU out of the turbo car and the MAS and a few other choice parts to go with it.

well i give you props on wanting to do this but unless you already have the 2.0 turbo engine, is there a real reason why you dont just sell this one and get a gts or gsx?

I bought a great shape 93 GS for$400 cause the timing belt stripped at the crank and i have to pull the whole motor now and there was a turbo 2.0 engine on craigslist avaiable. Sounds like not going to work unless eliminate the turbo and bolt non turbo injection and exhaust manifold from standard 2L to turbo block and have a beafier set up as the turbo engines are usually built heavier.

6 bolts are all the wsame insaide but the turbo motor has 7.8:1 compression, if you run that with no turbo it will be a tird.

well it depends. Do you mean a non turbo or a turbo. The NT is 9.0:1 and the turbo is 7.8:1
