Just getting things cleared up...

The stock bov on the 1g is the better one... But it still only holds so much.. Unless he would crush it down(Because of it being metal, not plastic). Which would be a cheaper way of doing it.. But you also could ruin it and have to buy a new one anyways... And yes, he would at best be at 260, thats what i meant by that... Anytime you look at it, when your trying to get big hp gains, theres no cheap way of looking at it.. Your gonna spend a grand or 2 easy... But for about 2grand you could be 350+ hp with the right psi...
your never going to get 260HP to the wheels with that and not anywhere near 350HP to the wheels with intake BOV and upper IC pipe ad 17 PSI. I have a grand into my EVO and I am maybe at 300WHP and that is on a big 16G at 20.5 PSI which a 1G wont beable to do without fuel and possible a turbo upgrade . the 14b is good but the 16g is better.

personally in my GS-T i started with an intake, free mods, NGK plugs/ wires, custome exhaust, B&M short throw ..... i had raced several LT1's from a dead stop and roll.... from a dead stop by the end i had them only by 3/4 of a car but from a roll we stayed about dead even. i had also raced a 02 Cobra n he only beat my by half a car n i didnt have much done to my car at all. only weight reduction i ever did was the spare tire n all that other BS. im not saying im the best driver but i think it just comes down to driver VS driver. you can have the fastest damn car or one with insane HP but if you cant drive for **** it wont help any.
