I have a 2004 Eclipse 4 cylinder. The heater does not work and I am trying to figure out why. The heater hoses are cold where they attach at the firewall, so I am obviously not getting circulation to the heater core. Is this a problem with trapped air in the heater core, or is there some kind of control valve that is stuck???

I would like to fix this myself so I don't take vacation time to get my car fixed.

does the blower fan work at all? if not replace the heater relay, only thing i can think of that would cause your heater to not work.
