Hi I havea problem, I had Fry's install a deck for me and that deck broke. They also cut the audio wiring for my ecplipse so therefore I can not use a harness. Now I am having trouble connecting the wires to each wire. If you can help me maybe with a ecplipse wiring digram or a step by step intruction of some sort that would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to install a Pioner DEH-345 deck in. If you need more details in order to help me, please let me know.

 

I cut my wires when i owned a previous car and it sucked......I just got a multimeter and found power and ground, I would assume that all the wires are wierd colors with stripes and dots and stuff. After you have found those just use a 9V battery to find the speakers connect 2 wires to it and you will hear a scratchy noise if you have it on 2 wires that are to one speaker. From there your can find all speakers and there will prob be a few extra wires one for a power antenna, and one for memory. to find out which one is the power antenna just connect one wire to power one to ground and put the radio on a radio station if it goes up thats the one, if not then it could be broken or it is the wrong wire. if you dont have a power antenna dont bother doing this.......thats all i got for you hope its helpful!

 

the only problem i see with this is that most new cars dont know about eclipses more than just the sterio wiring runs through the harness that goes to the sterio. " heater controls and on dash controls" if this is so with the eclipse i would go to a junk yard rip out one of the pluges take alot of wire with it than rewire the harness. after that they sell connectors that will snap in the stock connector directly to the sterio no cuting of any wires easy install and uninstall if u ever take it out.
