Default New 2008 GT Ecplise taking a long time to start

My new 2008 GT Ecplise sometimes takes about 6 to 7 seconds to start. It doesnt if the car is warmed up or not sometimes it takes that long to start. I did notice if I turn the engine off after that and go to start it up again it starts up instantly. Not really sure what could be causing this. I really dont no much about cars and would be grateful for any suggestions or help on this issue.
