Default 1g 2g tranny difference

I've been doing some research because I found a hell of a deal on a built 6 bolt, built 1g tranny and built 1g transfer case. Some of the pages I found said the two transmissions are interchangable, some said their not. What is the real answer? Most of the ones that said you couldn't swap them said that the 2g tranny has 3 mounts and the 1g has 1 mount. I know for a fact when i did my clutch swap that my tranny only has 1 mount. The roll stoppers, front and rear, are attached to my block. The tranny mount and tranny to engin bolts are the only things that support my tranny. Help me out on this one please. I'm freaking confused. thanks guys

i dont think there is a problem with all the mounts and bolting them up. There real problem that exists with the 1g vs 2g awd tranny's is the spline counts, you need a 1g t-case to use a 1g tranny, other than that you dont have a problem
