i have a 89 eclipse gst 5spd, i have turbo xs mbc and i cant get anywhere on the turbo boost control. it is installed correctyl. if i put a 1gbov on it do u think i could get to 15 or 16 without leaking. o and stock t25 and i know icant push more then 16psi

 

are you able to raise and lower the boost, you may have installed it wrong. But yes on a 1g bov you can hold 16psi. go to www.vfaq.com to see how to install the mbc. Basically one end should go to the wastegate and the other to the compressor housing of the turbo

 

like idk it just doesnt go anywhere. i think if i set it to factory its at 12 psi and i can get it to go to 13psi but thats it.

i just got a 1g bov and the hardpipe and i want to put it on my 2g. how do i do it? does it just bolt right up to it?.

 

Umm I would thing it does, is the hardpipe flanged for the 1g bov? It should just bolt right up...

 

o ok . its a 1g bov with the 1g hardpipe. i thought it would just bolt right up too. but the way it looks its like impossible. because the stock bov on the 2g is plastic along with half the upper ic piping. i dont know how to install it. unless i need some aftermarket piping and if i do then i just need to know. lol

 

Yeah the a 1g hardpipe will not fit a 2g lol, you need to find auicp for a 2g flanged for a 1g bov. I thought you had a hard uicp for a 2g. You can find one on dsmtrader.com.

 

no i just have the 1g hardpipe and bov. crap lol. i found one from rre for $95. idk if im going to get it though. i might just get the greddy upper and lower kit. i looked around and tried to find one flanged for the 1g. do you know of anywhere that would have them? or if so do they even make them flanged for a 1g?
