I'm puting a 95 turbo motor back together after the timing belt broke and bent all the valves. Got a used head on Ebay, and the cam lobes look funny. The are not smooth/shiny like the cams on the bad head - kind of speckled texture. The head does not appear to have been sitting for any lengh of time so I don't think it's rust or corrosion.
Is this normal/common/ok for Mitsu cams? Just looks weird to me.
