LOL No kidding. You MIGHT be all right need to retime the engine and install the new belt see what she sounds like then. You MAY be fine who knows. All depends on the positions of the cams and valves when it went.

i would pull the head and see if anything looks messed up. examine everthing.
the price of a gasket is a lot cheeper than the price of a belt so look at what has happened before just sticking a new belt turning it over and blowing somthing up.

I dont have it its at the mechanic they are figuring out whats wrong with it......dont have the time and I have never done anyting that in depth before,......HOPEFULLY they will fix it
