3 questions all rolled into one ^^
ok me againwith my 99rs
lets start things off with the fun's, im planning on upgradeing my entertainment system in the ride, but ive been reading a lot on how most of the good brands require a little modification to fit in the back. ("With my trusty ol' hammer" credits to jeremy clarkson to you top gear fan's) im planning on infinity kappa's but i kno they need that little extra room so that the magnet doesnt hit the bottom. im planning on going for a small 10' sub in the back so im looking for a lot of base help from my speakers. OK, to my question, what do you guys run for your speakers (all around preferably) and did you need to modify any of the spaces?
ok here gets fun, how would i know if i had bad motor/transmission mounts? my trusty mech said i needed both and thats y my car makes a loud THUD when i put a mad amount of load on it, and also when i put to much on the transmission it would "skip" (the words he used to describe the action when it feels like the clutch is slipping, but you can hear it kinda grinding noise??) thats the best i can describe it. heres how i recreate the sound. i can either let off of first gear at 2.5k+ rpms and just take her easy and it would feel like something is not catching, or even after a role, in first or second gear if i floor it, it will do the same thing.
and for my final question, how would i know if i had a bad/dirty/clogged egr valve? i dont have any cel's showing up for it. heres y i think mines bad, for my profession im a delivery driver, meaning constant on and off with the car. and i noticed if i leave my car alone for more than 30 mins she has a hard time starting up again, either she takes about 10 secs to crank or when she does crank fast its at a low rpm with the sound of her wanting to die. fuel maybe??? but if you can help me out please
thank you for reading my essay if you can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks againg. and please no flaming ^^ im a noob at my assumptions. im bearly learning about this car and how it works, i know my descriptions arnt the best but we all learn somewhere right?

Well the only way to really know if the mounts are bad is to look and see if they appear worn or torn. Usually bad mounts will just cause alot of vibration. If your having shifting problems, that doesnt have to do with the mounts.
And the starting issue, it could be anything. But i would start with plugs
