My 1994 Montero LS rolled 3 times today!
I was traveling 55 mph when i hit a solid 5 foot by 5 foot piece of scrap wood today. the montero went sideways and me and my brother rolled 3 times in the middle of the highway we skided down the highway for over 20 feet on the roof before we came to a stop, we crawled out of the driver side. Luckily we both are fine other than being sore and cut up some by the glass.
I'm really bumming though because I have liability and they have no leads as to who's truck dropped the wood.
I'm looking for a body to drop my drivetrain into so if anyone knows where a body is that is in good shape from 92-96 I would appreciate it
I only had my montero for a week before this so I'm really disappointed, I worked all summer to pay for it.
Thanks for any replies guys

Ouch sounds painful.
FWIW, swapping in your engine & tranny into another rig shouldn't be too hard. I've helped remove one on a buddy's 95 sr. If you don't have one already, go buy a harbor freight or similar cheapie engine puller/hoist since you'll only be using it a couple of times.
Also have a floorjack, jackstands, etc. available. We did my buddies by removing the front clip, then removed the engine/tranny in one fell swoop using a bucket of chains, & shackles. Removal took us a couple of hours.
Installation took longer but unfortunately I wasn't around for that.
I've seen plenty monties for sale with bad engines on various online sites (craigslist.org, cars.com, autotrader.com, etc.)
