RE: 6-Bolt
Thank god. This sucks. I had the car 3 days and is been out of comission for 2 months. The temp tags are up now and it was a 60 day temp.Im not towing it to the local inspection station ill just drive and if i should get pulled ill pleed my case lol. So why sis they decide to mess with the thrust bearing on the 2g

RE: 6-Bolt
its more than just the bearings. It the 7-bolt oil squirters as well. They dont function correctly under low oil pressure, so at idle and with the clutch depressed it will create alot of wear on the bearing, thus you get bearing failure. And to answer the question of why: well they changed to the 7-bolt in 1993 which just so happens its right when the coordination of chrysler and mitsubishi (DSM) ended.
