hey, I was wondering if I did a 6bolt swap on 2 gen eclipse would the motor bolt on to trans. without any problems. Also could I use some parts from 7 blot engine like air intake and fuel pump clutch etc and a tc upgraded turbo since car already has problems he selling it to me for 1g but he might go lower so that leaves me with 4 gran to upgrade car even more

 

yes and yes, except you'd need a 6 bolt flywheel, hence the name. is the engine bad? why swap unless its already dead?

 

I am not sure exact condition of the car its been sold locally and am freinds with brother of the guy trying to sell it but I do know it starting to burn oil it has around 112k on stock block with small modifications, so it either a rebuilt or swap if I wanted to get it .thnx

 

I just bought a 90 eagle talon with a six bolt 4G63T in it and I own a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse gs blown engine and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the engine mounts for the swap I have everything else I just can't find any online for sale

 

try a search it wont just mount in takes a lot of fabrication. thread stealer

 

Will not work unless you have a lot of money which I doubt b/c you drive a 98 eclipse gs.

 

Yeah you need to swap out the bottom frame part too and all its so not worth it. Like sebba would say sell it and buy a turbo one lol
