Default 95 GS-T First upgrades. 800 to spend.

Well First i want to apologize for the thread because i kno there are alot of these kind of threads on here, BUT i read them and they didnt answer my questions. First, I have $800 to spend and want to know what the best things to get are. I'm already going to get a Cat back exaust but don't know which kind you all prefer. Also, i've been reading up on intakes and it seems as if people are split between cold air intakes and short ram intakes. I'm pretty sure i'm going to get a short ram intake because i read that if you get water in the cold air intake and it gets into your engine your screwed. I'm not very mechanically inclined as you might be able to tell, but I'm learning as i go along and im a fast learner. Thanks in advance for the help, and if you feel the need to flame, go for it, i can take it.
