95 gst wont stay running

Default 95 gst wont stay running

hey just bought a 95 gst, i picked it up for $500. the thing is it starts for about 1-2 seconds then shuts off,any ideas??

Does it stay running if you step on the gas pedal? I'd assume a bad iac motor.

if i dont give it gas it will stay on for about 1-2 seconds but if i try to give it gas it dies automatically...

So it dies when you give it gas...check fuel pressure maybe the pump is taking a crap on ya.

i was thinking that... how bout the crankshaft position sensor??

Idk if a crank sensor would do that...I'd check what fuel pressure your getting and go from there.

also check to make sure its not a power issue. You may want to check the terminals on the battery or the alternator
