97 speedometer problem

my friend, she has a '97 gs spyder and she says that whenever she hasn't driven her car for a few days, her speedometer doesnt work. why is this? she also said that it works again after awhile.</P>

97 speedometer problem

probably a short in the speedo, has nothing to do with how often she drives the car... check the wiring, or buy a new speedo
