We have a 99 Eclipse RS. The problem we are having is that when we are coming to a stop, if we brake regularly (come to a stop slowly), the car slams stopped hard like the parking brake got engaged. If we brake more quickly, the engine still has some rev to it and the car lunges forward a little bit.

It is popping a cel code that says the egr is inefficient. I don't recall the specific code as we reset it and it hasn't resurfaced again yet, but it will.

We have done the following to the vehicle since we bought it:
rebuilt transmission
replace imap sensor
replace egr valve

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
