I have a 99 eclipse 2.0. I have loosened all bolts and belts of the alternator and have it loose in the engine compartment. What is the best way to go about getting it out. I am thinking I may have to remove the bottom bracket for the pivot bolt and remove it from the bottom of the car not sure though. Any advice would be helpful.

 

well having done this twice, both time i layed under the car and wiggled and pushed the alt up while my buddy was pulling up on it

 

did you remove any brackets or braces to do that
