I bought four new slotted and cross drilled rotors for my 99 GSX..... does anyone know about a spray or liquid that protects rotors from rusting? Or that will clean rust from rotors? I have old ones and have tried all kinds of brake cleaners but still wont fully remove it. Any help will be appriciated thanks.

 

as far as i know, the material of what the rotors are made from prevents it from rusting, steel aluminum, you know the drill, but if theres really such a thing for that, lemme know

 

did you buy them new? if so they should have a special coating on them to prevent rust.

 

yes you gotta clean the rotors (or at least i do) with brake cleaner, a green pad and a rag to wipe them off.

 

are they name brand? or ebay? all name brand parts have been treated.
