[align=left]well my problem is when i am driving with the overdrive off it runs fine but when it is on it will pop into neutral and back into gear at random times while i am driving. i have taken it the the mechanics and they arent to sure of what the problem is. has anyone else had this problem before?

sound like when it trys to go into OD its not getting in. Now usually an overdrive problem is gonna be associated with the end clutch. However most of the time you just wont have overdrive and it will shift fine just wont go into overdrive. Do you have any CEL when in OD mode? The only thing i can think of is maybe there is a problem with the TCM. But in order to properly test it you really need to bring it to a transmission specialist

 

thanx, what is the CEL though? the mechanic told me it might be the end clutch also but right now it is running fine in overdrive. do you think that it is just gradually wearing on the end clutch and that is why it will do it only part of the time?
