Default BAD antifreeze leak!!

Okay the other day i pulled into my driveway and some antifreeze dripped out and then it just stopped. It smoked and smelled like antifreeze usually does but then it just ended. So I took it to school today and when I parked nothing happened. I went to a friends house and all of a sudden it started puking like you wouldnt believe. I limped home letting it cool down every few hundred feet it seemed. I have a new radiator and new headers in the mail and they should be here tomorrow. While im getting that fixed im just wondering if anyone knows what else should be looked at. It leaking completely out of the pasenger side and I know very little about cars. Please HELP!!

First check all hoses for splits and cracks then you'll want to look at your freeze plugs those will be the easy things to check. The next on the list is check for coolant coming from the water pump. Those are the only places it could possibly be leaking other than the radiator which you said is already being changed.

Check where the top hose meets the head. alot of the time the gasket right there where the thermostat is will leak or just go out. if it dose it while sitting there than try putting som water in it to see if it is a crack in the radiator itself.

well it had over heated pretty bad so i was worried that i had killed it cuase no light came on and i just noticed that my temp gauge was way up. I got a new exhaust manifold and raditor and had the machanic to check all the hoses and connections. He said it hadn't fried anything and everything was secure so I guess im okay now.

Did it stop overheating? It could also be that the radiator needs bled. (Or the cooling system I should say needs bled).
