Default Bad cold start - fuel issues?

Ok, so I have trouble starting my car in the cold. I read the manual and it says a few things but my eye runs to Fuel system issues. This is because my battery is new and I checked my injectors and they look good. the thing is I had friends check my fuel lines when I was looking for that weird gas smell (which turns out was my catless exhaust just stinking up the roads). My friends said my fuel lines look fine, no leaks.

So what could be the problem?

Should I check my battery?

Thanks

What exactly is it doing, we need more details man. If it just takes a little while to start in the cold thats normal. Mine can be a PITA to start on cold days as well.

Well I have to pump the gas pedal in order for it to start. That's why I'm thinking fuel (guess I shoulda said that from the start - duh)

same issue here...
im not sure what to point at since theres a couple of things i have to check out...
my front O2 is lazy, previous owner hacked the MAF - removed all the honey combs out of it, california ECU - catless and EGR block off - LOL it dont like that too much either!
but when i start it cold i have to pump the gas as well a couple of times.
95+ cars when the gas is depressed all the way to the floor (WOT) is in flood clear mode, therefore your running very rich..
same as me.

try replacing the fuel filter gas along with just about any petro product is heavier and somewhat thicker not like a gel but harder to move when it is cold. also try a good fuel line dryer additive.
