dose it cause any problems with the engine because i am going to eventually build it up but rignt now i am gonna put on a new head gasket and timing belt and sence i am there would it be a good idea to put it on?
I would personally order it from this site over slowboy.. Ive heard a lot of bad experiences with slowboy... Ive dealt with extreme with over $2000 in dsm parts and have been pleased with all of them.. http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...865&page=1
You can put the balance shaft eliminator kit in without pulling the motor out.. It is easier with it out, but it can be done.. Just a lot more labor, and harder to get to.. I had a balance shaft belt break on my spyder and ended up getting stuck on the side of the road, so I personally recommend it if your rebuilding your motor.. But its not worth the extra work if thats the only thing your doing.
