Anyone know a good place to buy some good ball joints for 97' Mits. Eclipse GSX? I am going to replace them soon. So I am needing some faster shipping... Please Help... Thanks

 

Check either the regular auto parts stores or a dealership. There really are no aftermarket ball joints that I know of.

 

did you check to see if you have a recall on them? i know all 92 - 99 eclipses have a recall on the lower lateral ball joint.

 

No, I didn't. I just put (2) new ones in @ $154.80 each... Now the whole front end is new..

New Front Axles
New Hub assemblies
New Hub bearings


Everything in the rear is good. GSX AWD is just hard on the front end it looks like... Never owned a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.... Fun Car though...

 

LOL well at least you found them and got it done. Glad you're enjoying the car. Check for other recalls though and see if anything else needs done before getting any more work done to her. ALWAYS a good idea to check for outstanding recalls. EOT.

 

How do you go about checking for recalls? Is there a sight to go to... Pls. give me some information.

Carfax.com if you do the free check will tell you about the recalls. that or call a local dealer and give them the last 8 digits of your vin.
