you should be able to beat that stang pretty easy with all the mods you have. And it is all in the DRIVING skills. I beat one with my other car... (Mazdaspeed Protege) and i dont' have anything but an intake and an exhaust. And your turbo clipse has more HP then my Mazda... It's possible its just all on the driver.

 

My cousin has an 89 GT Mustang. He put an x-pipe, headers, MAF, and a TB. Absolutely killed My GS, I'm talking liike it was no contest fron the word go.

 

well here is the thing GS the GS is slow it runs a 16-17 second 1/4 The GSt stock runs a 15.1. with his mods he listed he is at least a 14.2 now if he can drive and that mustang stock is like a 15 something maybe a high 14. From a stop no contest GSX wins

modded GSt will win.
Modded GSX will win.

 

AWeseom my friend just got one, spicy orange its got an intake, cayt back custom 3" exaust w/ hks muffler. Really nice, but ya thats a 15.2 stock car... its so close to the 4g63 its not even cool. 2.0 doch motor with a t25.

Anywho I personally wouldnt even launch on him, like drag the clutch a 3k untill you start to move then smack on it. You so have him, crank the boost up to 16 psi and call it a day.

 

well yesterday, something was wrong, it was bogging still at 4k, my cousin said its probably because my oil filter and oil filter seal is leaking like crazy, i went through a quart of oil in the last 4 days. and im in need of a oil change. the timing belt cover cracked. and oil was all over. so idk, i need to fix it first.

also would i beat a BMW 540 i?

 

in a GS no.... if a turbo model maybe. the way BMW wors is the first # is the class so 5 series and the last to are the motor size so 40= 4.0 probaly a V8

in your GSX maybe most likely not sure about the 540 but I race a modded M3 and smoked it in my EVO the M3 has the I6 motor and is smaller than a 5 series. see if you can find stats on the 540 cuz I have no idea other than it must be a 4.0L

 

ahh well it really depends on what year 540.from a stop it does not matter what year though.

 

that is true but the 540 is a big boat so even a newer one will have ton of power im sure but a few tons of weight behind it.. along with RWD
