Bottom line, you want my opinion? Get a 1G recirc valve / bov. You can pick em up for around 45ish and then use it in RECIRCULATE mode. If you want the bling factor get a Type-S and use it in RECIRC mode. You'll hear both of them still and won't lose any performance when recirc'ing.

There's a shot of the old setup I had in my 2G, you can see the 1G cbv being recirc'd here. When you put the 1G cbv on you can run all the boost your lil' T25 can push out, the stock plastic unit leaks at anything past about 10psi. Of course if you DO crank up the boost make sure you have all the supporting mods first as well.

I agree totally why vent it in the first place you take away from drivability and performance. I HATE vented BOVs on DSMs and EVOs that arent properly modded to do so. it makes me laugh and its tough to laugh at your own kind

its not hard, but why do you want it? like it was said earlier, the 2g maf flows fine, you can get 40whp out of it easily. The gm maf is a good idea for 1gs, but even some 1gs upgrade to a 2g maf because its a good upgrade in itself. walk before you run and max out your stock maf, most people dont even get to that point, im definitely not there

well i know how most of you feel but a good part of the reason i wanna do it is i am currently venting my bov and like the sound.however my car has never had any issues because of this but i do wanna do things the right way,and since i am venting,it seems only right to use the gm mas.i mean everything i have done so far has been top notch stuff,no cheap immitations.so basically i wanna do it for that reason and just so im not causing any harm that i do not know of.
