Is there any performance difference between the Type S and Type RS? I am about to swap my original 2G BOV and would like to know about this before i order any.. And do i need any recirculation kit for this?

Thx, Dixxy, Norway..

The rs is ment more for venting and is just a newer model of the type S the type S requires no recurc kit i beleve the rs dose because the end is flanged.

When i compare the S and the RS pictures on e-bay it looks like maybe the RS flange could be unscrewed, so it would look like the S type.. If i could buy the RS and take the flange of and if this would fit like the S type i would definetly go for the RS, but I guess it's all about the preference of looks (which I know shouldn't be a case when looking for performance)..

The RS description says "This unit can be set up to blow off or bypass boost"..

Hey bro,

If you head over to AutoZone, you can pick up a Haynes manual for about $17.00, I believe. It's basically a blueprint for your car. It has everything. Make sure you grab the 2G Haynes. It's the Mitsu. bible for Eclipse Everything you should ever need. Good luck.
