Boost leak?

RE: Boost leak?
do you know how a boost gague works??? a boost line is takin off of a vaccuum line from the intake manifold... so when air is pushed into the manifold (vaccuum) the air builds up, when the air is being sucked into the cylinders (boost) it actually creates a vaccuum from the low presssure (you have to know a little bit about physics to know exactly what i'm talking about b/c it's almost backwards) but just know that there HAS to be some kind of line from the intake mainifold to the boost gauge to show you boost and if you have a leak in the line somewhere air is escaping and you aren't getting an accurate reading.

Hey, I have an electronic boost gauge and yes, you still need the line to run to it's pressure gauge (although, it is remote mounted), this allows me to mount the gauge just about anywhere and the sending unit too.
