I have a greddy rs bov and when I rev the engine it won't go off. I tried adjusting it hard or soft but still won't go off. When I shift everything is good and it goes off but not when I am in neutral and rev the engine. It's recirculated and I think thats why. I just want to be sure. Any help is appreciated

With the pressure on the valve from both ends, it won't open like a vented BOV. This is normal.

 

You need to have a load on the engine to build boost. As long as it sounds normal when you shift, then it is working.

Also, it may be opening, you just can't hear it because it is recirculated.

 

Yeah you wont really hear it when you rev it up at idle b/c the engine needs a load to build boost.
