Default burned wires

anyone know what wires these have to be? or what they are called ?[/align][/align][/align]

The two white wires? I believe one goes to the alternator fusible link and the other to the battery fusible link in the fuse box.

we know where they go, just not where to get them at. the wires melted on him yesterday and we are trying to get them replaced.

They can be replaced with audio grade 8 gauge too. I believe they're 8 gauge, I haven't looked at them in awhile. You can also look for the stiffer 8 gauge at an autoparts store too. You just have to track them down.

They're getting fried from your battery making contact with the strut bar you have.
I had something similar like that occur, so I got a new tie down for my battery and bought some terminal covers.

hehe, well actually thats a picture off of the visual tour of the engine website. mine doesn't have a strut bar, but my battery terminal was loose so i think it just moved around and arked... from what i can tell. Luckily my mom works at a electronic place that does all the wiring and soldering stuff so she's hooking me up.
