Default Buying a Gs-T soon

Hey im going to look at an Eclipse Gs-T and i want to know what to look for. The car was 100k miles on it and has no problems with the exception of a boost leak is what he says. i'm going to be buying it from a friend and i doubt he'd be trying to rip me off. But i just want to know what to looks for when im buying it because i hear some eclipses have problems and what not. And how could i check if the clutch is going soon because it still has the stock clutch in it. any input as to what i should be looking for as far as problems are so i dont buy a lemon would be very helpful thanks

please try and search a bit because this has been discussed. How much is he looking for?

To check the clutch the best way is to just get on it and see if its slipping. Also are there any mods to it? What year is the car? Might want to check out our FAQ's and do a search for "crankwalk"

need more info needed as TheEngineer stated. very vague description. regular things to check for would be blown head gasket by looing at the oil, also check the fluid levels, keep eye on the heat gauge, check the AC, tire pressure, tire life, things like that
