Hello! I am new here...

That smile is fake of course..because this car has gaven me a problem which cannot be solved at all.

Okay so...this is how the story goes. I started working with my pops....and some guy had a 95 mitsu eclipse GS and his comp broke so they replaced it...several months later his tranny messed up and decides to sell it to me for $200 cheap...i mean the car is good condition and has a brand new computer...

so i buy that sht with my first paycheck...fix the tranny cuz my dad has a friend 20+ years...the gears are weird n sht idk so he take sit apart again n rebuilts it but no problems found...

the car runs good now n sht...but when ur driving sometimes u lose speed..like ur driving and then when u hit the gas the car wont accelerate...it feels just like it is in neutral. BUT THE WEIRD THING IS turning the car off then back on fixes it...and its back to normal..but it happens a lot :S

ok so we took the car to 4 different ppl..two are my uncles who have their own shops...and they checked tranny n its perfect..it aint the tranny!!!!

now we told the previous owner..and he said he had the same problem but he thought it was the tranny too since it messed up...

ok so...it's been about 6 months...and no matter where we take it they cant figure out wut the fck is the issue. pissing me off throwing in money and not having the problem fixed...

the car doesnt give any check engine light etc...

litterally we have checked the whole car inside out...

my uncle found a few things that were messed up..one of the sensors was leaking next to the motor..n a hose was catchign air but he replace dit..

i was hoping that would fix it but nope cmon my first car and i cant drive it excited because it has problem

what else can we do? tired of throwing in money for nothing...

Question, has anyone gone through your wiring yet? So many things can happen because of wore out wiring, shorts, bad wiring by the previous owner (if they worked on it) Don't know if that is your problem but I'd look into it.

 

well that is what my dad and i think but it's hard to check all of them.

my moms family checked the motor n computer and stuff and all the voltages are good etc. they checked wire by wire and its good!

right now here in cali..its hot and theprevious owner said it would do it more when it shot and its true...

we cant us the car during day now but once the sun goes down the car runs perfect. overheating problem? but wut....

man we just cant find what the problem is !!!

the car goes and stuff but the rpm goes to 3-4 and it should switch gears but doesnt...it forces itself and when u park when this happens u switch from park to neutral and back to drive and the car shakes hard...only when u switch it to drive... but when u turn off car and turn back on...back to normal until it happens again of course -_-
