My 2001 , 2.4L Eclipse on quick accelearation (automatic) loses power at 5,000 RPM and a air like sound can be heard under the hood (cannot find any lose or split vaccum hoses). The RPM's do not spike (as if tranny was slipping) and will continue to rise (car gains speed), butat a much slower rate. Same thing in 2nd at 5k. Just started doing this. Changed trans fluid to no evail (no metal in fluid). Runs fine under normal operatation.

Any Ideas?
