Default clutch

hey im back on here with a question about clutches. ok well i bought my GS-T a couple weeks ago and the dealer said that the previous owner had installed a stage-2 clutch. well when i press down all the way on the clutch, the clutch grabs. when the dealer took a look at it he i guess adjusted it when he put my starter in and it drove great after that. well today when i took it to the car wash, its starting to grab again, is it a bad clutch or just something loose?

what do you mean it grabs. The actually pedal is getting stuck to the floor? or the clutch is not dis-engaging properly

He may mean that it engages right off the floor. Mine engages a bit close to the floor but I just figured it was probably a hydraulic clutch, self adjusting and that is where it suppose to be. Most clutches that I've set up that are adjustable are usually set up 1" to 1-1/2" of free travel before they start engaging as you are pushing down.

Oh ok so your clutch just grabs very low on the pedal. I gotcha, Thats normal of any performance clutch upgrade. All you have to do is adjust the clutch pedal. Behind the pedal youll find a long bolt attached to the back and heads toward the firewall. At the end toward the firewall is a nut keeping it tight. Just loosen the nut a little bit and turn the bolt. (I dont remember which way the bolt needs to turn). My guess would be counterclockwise. But just turn it a bit, then retighten the nut and check to see how the clutch is engaging. Just keep trying until its where you want it.

does it make noise when its all the way down? could be shoving the pressure plate into the disc, ive seen that on other cars.
i would say it needs some adjustment still to make it right.
