CLUTCH! GRRR
ok, been gone a while the car is a 99 spyder gs
anyways im doing the head swap soon (4g63), so i need a clutch too support the power it will make after the evo 3 kit.... Anyways, my stick has been hard to shift latley and my clutch got stuck and it rode 4000 for like 5 seconds (don't ask how haha) and since then its smelled like burnt clutch. I guess I need to replace it... Any ideas of what I should get since im doin things little by little so eventually ill make my goal 300whp but until then im doing things little at a time. Suggestions please....thanks

RE: CLUTCH! GRRR
Whats the difference between the 2 and where do I buy this at. Ive seen them on random websites but I want a good website. Do I need to find a 4g64 one or does it really not matter if I get the 4g63?

Whats the power difference? and will it matter if I'm currently running just an exhaust not other mods therefore im not creating that much power, but will in the future. Any website to buy this and the 4g64 ones are hard to find will the 63 work?

Here are the models that will fit on your 64 http://www.advancedclutch.com/1356667/0/0/0/1999_MITSUBISHI_ECLIPSE_SPYDER_L4_2.4L_N_FI_(4G64) .html
I have the 2600 and it took a little while to get used to but I don't think it's that bad at all, I got mine off of ebay and it was cheaper than the online stores, but you HAVE to make sure it is a real name brand ACT clutch, make sure the seller has a good rep too. If you are planning on doing a lot of mods it is probably best to do the 2600. The 2100 is rated @ 330 ft/lbs of torque and the 2600 is rated @ 400 ft/lbs.
