Default clutch problem

Have any of you gotten a heavier clutch and is now harder to disengauge it fully now? i had that and i put a slave cylinder extension rod in to make it fully disengauge, but i barly have any play now with my clutch now, and i want some more play. Is there anything out there, like an extension rod for the master cylinder? besides getting a new master cylinder??

Have you tried just adjusting the screw at the pedal, cuz i know when i put in the ACT 2900 it was very short and there is a bolt behind the pedal that will give you alittle more pedal to work with.

no clutch NEEDs an extension rod, and all they do is put more stress on your thrust bearings. if you cant fully engage/disengage it, just adjust the pedal. there are 2 adjustments, most people just adjust the lower part but you can also adjust the top of the pedal, sounds like what you need to do

yea what youll see is a bolt with a nut on it. You have to loosen the nut, then turn the bolt to where you want it, then tighten the bolt.

yup i had the same thing, actually mine was so low i couldt even get the clutch to fully disengage. But make sure that you tighten that nut back on good because i had a problem with mine where it kept loosening and making the clutch pedal lower again.
