Was the pedal adjusted? Was it locked back down, lol? The check valve, like the one explained in the RRE link, could be your culprit...along with the pedal adjustment Nubie.

 

i know i am new but i had the same issue when i bought mine. I replaced the clutch, and it started doin it again two months later. so then i was told it was a clutch release bearing. So i replaced and was also told toput in dreftco. Its a blueish green racing tranny fluid to help ease to strain on the tranny. And that was four months ago, and haven't had a problem since

 

umm the check valve u speak of i was reading on the RRE site the link u put up .. and i dont see any check valve mention.. is that another name for something.
