clutch swap
For the past two weeks I've been installing my new clutch. Sebba you should be happy haha ACT 2600 w/ extreme pressure plate and street disk. XACT Prolight flywheel. New shift fork, pivot ball, shifter bushings (two skate bearings welded together), slave cylinder w/ extended rod. Drained and flushed all fluids (tranny, differential, transfer case). I've been out in the field every other day so today I'm going to put the driver side axle back in, and finish up everything. I just wanted to let you guys know that its a bitch even with and impact wrench, lift, and a tranny jack. Have a good one.
it feels nice and strong now. It was slipping pretty bad. the only thing I don't like is that it engages with the pedal closer to the floor. It throws me off. I almost stalled it pulling out of the garage. So far so good though. I'm not going to be able to break it in for awhile though because i need new front tires now. They're pretty bad. The driver side tire actually has the steel belting coming through. Probably won't get 500 miles out of them. Oh well. too much **** to do.... I'll keep you guys posted
