Default cold start trouble shooting a dead gst spyder

okay heres a problem, my 98 spyder took a poop going down the street and will not start ,turn over no problem , heres the course of action i took i checked for spark out of the wayspark system and it is getting spark , its getting air and now its getting fuel but still not getting any fire on any cylinders .I did however un cover the wiring to my o2 sensors to install my a/f ratio guage and with the heavy rain fall i'm thinking something shorted out in the ecu and could be resulting in a new ecu , lend me your knowledge

you uncovered the wires on the o2 sensor? as in the actual copper is exposed? if so ur an idiot. sorry but it's true. you may have just gotten water on it and shorted out the actual o2 sensor so i would probably get a new one... should have bought a $1.29 roll of electrical tape instead of possibly spending $80-$100 on a new o2 sensor.

i probably already konw the answer but i still have to ask.... you DID have an air filter on ur car right??? i know some ppl tha run w/o a filter once in a while for 2 extra hp and a better sound but if you did this and got water into ur intake and it did make it all the way to the combustion chamber you may have hydrolocked the engine... it's just one of those things i have to ask to eliminate it.

no i was running k&n in the air box , its was sealed and i have all my body plastic i have double checke fuel ,used noid senesor lights ,pulled spark plugs looked it the cylinders with a flashlight , fixed two other cars , cant test the mass air flow sensor or cranck shaft positioning sensor , since that one would have got drownded with water the o2 sensors were probably submerged for 45 second periods it was deep water and the car stalled at take off once but thats common running a atmosphere bov so any other ideas

quick answer i have zero compression and my valves are bent on the intake side but not the exhaust answer to this hydro lock forced the intake cam to jump time allowing contact between the valves and pistons

If Hydro Locked the engine would not turn over. driving thru deep water allowed the Cam timing belt to get wet and jump a few teeth allowing the pistons to take out the intake Valves. The plastic belt covers are on there for a reason..
