Crank walk? I searched i promise...

I know that! But some people just spin bearings and say OMG ITS CRANKWALK. Thats just f-ing annoying. Yes, crankwalk causes spun bearings i realise that... doesnt take a genius to figure that out lol. I just think that there is a line between the two.

okay you said if you disable the clutch start you have a better chance of not c walking? is this just because your using the clutch less? so anything that will help not press on the clutch as much you should do to help saveyou from c walk? how would you disable the clutch start sorry for the newb ?s i just dont want to have to put a 4th engine in my gst. if it gets to that point im getting a 6bolt. i didnt know about 6 and 7 bolts when i replaced the engine. thanks for the help
There is a rectangle shaped white plug that is above the clutch pedal, just unplug it and there you go. There are two white plugs, one is for the clutch start the other is thecruise control.
see but i bet if i did unplug it my gf would start it in gear sees how she cant shut it off without it in gear she always turns it off takes her foot off the clutch then LURCH and no turbo timer i hate it when she does that. she doesnt normally do it just sometimes. so do alot of people on herehave the clutch pedal start off? just curious i just heard about this today
okay so im just making sure it will most likely prolong the life of my rebuilt engine? i know not all 2gs c walk but i just cant afford it and im trying to learn as many tips and tricks to stop it just in case. i will get a 6 bolt but my gf is taking over my gst so im just trying to help us out money is tight. i almost bought a 3 g it was way new looking but it had been totaled and rebuilt by russians so my bank wouldnt approve the loan other wise id have a 3g.

The clutch start is a huge part of saving from CW. Because the problems that cause it are friction and lack of oil pressure. When you start a car you have both of those at its worst stage. the oil is all in the pan so it is a short shock at first on top of that when the clutch is in they run lower oil pressure and have more friction since pressure is being applied to the crank at the same time. So it is smart to remove the clutch start and it is also a big thing for 7 bolt guys to not hold the clutch pedal in at stops. your better off putting it in N and and staying off the clutch as much as you can
