If any of yall have a third gen eclipse, have you ever tried to get the center console to come up. You know to try to put in a neon switch. i cant get the front part that connects to the dash to come up its like its stuck

quick question..do you mean where the red arrow is pointing, like the top of the console, or the yellow arrow, the entire console itself?

I mean both i think. Well since i don't really know what i mean how do i get both off.

or!!! if you know a better place to put a switch for neon that would not require me to drill a hole that would be even better.
I know the fuse box is on the very left of the dash so would it be better to put the switch to the left of the stearing wheel?

my car came with an ashtray there, and i installed the switches...i ran a wire under the dash and down behind the radio...up to the ashtray area, and i used a ground around there as the other end of the switch. here is another picture

Then you just wire it to the fuse box.

if so do you need to buy a fuse to use, and which one would it be if i am using 2/20 in acc. Neons
