I had my driver side handle replaced and it cost me a whole $80.

 

Ebay sells a good set of door handles. they're a little beefier than the oem versions. But, yes be prepared to punch yourself in the face. Mitsubishi must hire 10 year old little girls to tighten the screw that's behind the window glass.

 

my driver side door is always a pain to open the power lock doesnt work in it any more so i always have to use my key and a buddy of mine told me it looked like my door pins needed to be replaced maybe thats why we have all had some door issues

 

my dad went to open my car door once during the winter, he thought it was frozen but it wound up just being locked, he pulled and pulled till it broke lol, but it still worked, he just pulled off a part of it... either way got a handle off ebay for real cheap, then when i traded my rs for my gsx i just let the guy worry about it haha

 

I broke the handle off of the passenger side door when I opened it one night. I ordered a replacement off of ebay and did the installation a week later. It took a good 3-4 hours. The hardest part is the tiny screw on the very inside of the door panel. I installed a black replacement handle so over the summer I may paint them or just upgrade to the aluminum ones.
