42....did you have the battery still connected when you replaced the ASD relay? That's what 42 is trying to tell you. Either power was still connected or you reconnected before the ASD relay was fully seated or even installed or something was done with one of the relays on the firewall. The ECU will see it and throw a code 42.
Keep on with what you're planning...drive it for a bit and let us know how it goes and if the codes go away....actually, come to think of it, go to Checker's and get the codes pulled (do they do that there btw?). Get the "P" codes instead of just the MIL codes bro. That will help narrow it down to the specifics.

Lol, no sir. I had to retune for the altitude and then the track closed just before I had my tune [:@]
Thanks for the comment bro. My car is the only stock bodied awd though. The other 3 are very noticeable, lol.
I can't wait to get back to the mainland because my 4g63 will be "forced" to grow up [sm=smiley15.gif] (<---- lol, that's such a gay devil emoticon) [sm=lildevil.gif]...there, that's better.

Disconnect the battery again, don't forget to press the brake pedal, and reconnect. Give it a day or two, unless you drive from one end of the H1 to the other at a constant speed (not including the turn around, lol). If that doesn't do it, then those items are having real issues, lol.
I agree with Gus' question too. A poorly grounded motor will trip sensors...that whole poor electrical flow thing![Wink](https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
