DSMlink has royally confused me... I'm not entirely sure what all of it is (I know its tuning software) but what do I do to get it? do I send them my ECU and they stick a chip in it and give me some software for my laptop to mess/tune the chip they put in my ECU or do I pay them for the software and then I just plug my laptop in and play, I'm really not sure how it all works, maybe I'm just dumb but the website did nothing more than confuse me, any help on this would be greatly appreciated (don't need to know how to tune just want to know what they do so I can tune)

First off you need an EPROM ECU. This allows for it to be programmed.

All DSMLink does, is program that chip on the ECU.

You've just got to find one. Then you have to send them the EPROM, and they remove the chip, and replace it with like a socket that you can plug chips into. That way you can have multiple chips, and you can switch them out at will.

Where can I find an EPROM ECU did they come in certain years of the dsm's or what? also whats the purpose of multiple chips, Is it possible to have just one chip and do everything? (not the best with computers and not very knowledgeable about them)

You can find them on eBay and such.

I think DSMLink has the ability to have multiple tunes, but you'll have to hook the laptop up to switch them.
