Just wondering what would be the easiest way to get extra hp out of my 91 Turbo. I have a 3" exhaust system and K&N air filter. I am guessing but I think I am around 190 hp.[&:]

 

front pipe, BOV, larger intercooler, and it mostly deepends on how much money u got to spend.

 

or get a downpipe, which will give u less hp than the front but will give you more hp and torque

 

easy or cheapest? easiest would be a bigger turbo! lol, cheepest.. umm.. if your exhaust is only cat-back.. then yeah, down pipe and test pipe/or front pipe (all one pipe) that would be the easiest. Apexi makes a front pipe for about $250. dyno'd to add 20-25 hp

 

Thanks, I think I will go with the cheapest upgrades for right now. Can I put a better BOV on the stock turbo or is that just a waste? Also, what about a bigger intercooler on stock turbo? Thanks for the help!

you can do almost all upgrades and keep the stock turbo.. just whats the point of having the potential if you can't release it?? DO it all, and then get a bigger one! I have a new BOV and exhaust and IC and **** and I still have my little t25! lol, just savin up

 

if u get a larger turbo, u will need a bov to make the turbo spool quicker, and to be able to relieve the pressure on the turbo
