real HID lights are expensive because they require a little power pack thingthat changes the voltage, and im pretty sure they dont even have filaments in them, theyre just filled with a chemical that gets incredibly bright when exposed to electricity. Im pretty sure they also make them up to 12000 k from what ive seen.
If the bulb has a filament, its not real HID, its just a bulb
