I was listning to sound clips of gsx's with no cat and cant find any sound clips of a gs with no cat or well i found one but the guy only ran up to 3000 rpm and i want to here it at around 6000 rpm.

 

the reason why you havent heard any cause anyone that has done is embarrased by how terrible it sounds...

 

Trust us it sounds horrible [:'(]. For the love of god, leave the cat on.

 

i don't think anybody has asked...... why are you even asking this? n/a and turbod cars will always sound worlds apart. n/a eclipses are slow and it doesn't matter what you do to the exhaust it's still gonna be slow. so i'd suggest just get a decen sounding exhaust and not worry about the performance. greddy, apexi1 and magnaflow.

 

your not gonna gain anything by removing the cat anyway. so why do it?

 

i've seen as much as a 2whp gain before but that's it. there was a great article i read in import tuner one day about this. from stock cat - high flow cat they gained 1 whp. from a high flow cat to a test pipe they gained 1whp. so from stock to test pipe it was a gain of 2whp which is the most i've ever seen. but then again this was on a sr20 powered 240 so they will see better results than a n/a car any day.
